Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Binne ("the Service"), operated by Immanence Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

What Binne Is (and Isn't)

Binne is a contemplative practice guide that helps you discover meditation and mindfulness practices. It provides educational information and personalized recommendations based on your preferences and goals.

Important: Binne is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• We do not provide mental health counseling or therapy
• We do not diagnose or treat any medical or psychological conditions
• Our recommendations are educational, not medical prescriptions
• Always consult qualified healthcare providers for medical concerns

Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Be at least 13 years old

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Binne to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the Service's operation or security
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer or copy our proprietary content

AI-Generated Content

Binne uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide personalized guidance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or not suited to your specific situation. Use your own judgment and consult professionals when appropriate.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality, is owned by Immanence Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Many contemplative practices described in Binne come from various spiritual and secular traditions. We respect the origins of these practices and encourage users to learn about their historical and cultural contexts.

Payments

Binne is free until the practice fits — the third time you come back to it on your own. After that it costs a single payment. If you buy it:

• The price is paid once, and what you bought is yours for good
• Nothing renews and there is no subscription to cancel; a Binne subscription bought before August 2026 continues on its original terms until you cancel it
• Refunds are handled case by case; write to us and we will sort it out
• The price shown when you buy is the price you pay; a later change never reaches a purchase already made

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Immanence Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes any damages that follow from acting on a contemplative practice recommendation.

Practice Responsibly

Contemplative practices can be powerful. Please:

• Start slowly and listen to your body and mind
• Consult a healthcare provider if you have concerns about any practice
• Seek qualified teachers for advanced or intensive practices
• Stop any practice that causes distress and seek appropriate support

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by posting the new terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
